Round Valley Rambler
The Round Valley Rambler is a trail half marathon and the first race in the Triple Trail Challenge. 100% of the course takes place on buff single and double track trail within the 2,100 acre, Round Valley Open Space, with altitude ranging from 6,500 to 7,100 feet. While athletes will find the trails foot-friendly, the rolling, high-desert terrain presents a few long and steady climbs followed by fast downhills. The Round Valley Rambler is a stout trail half and serves as a reality check for athletes preparing for the Triple Trail Challenge sister races, the Jupiter Peak Steeple Chase and the Mid Mountain Marathon.

Mid Mountain Marathon
The August 18, 2018 Mid Mountain Marathon is presented by Salomon Running.
NEW FOR 2018: While we will once again finish at the Utah Olympic Park but have made adjustments to the last few miles and removed the uphill finish!
The course begins at Silver Lake/Deer Valley, where it follows the iconic Mid Mountain Trail for nearly 20-miles, to it’s terminus. There is one last uphill push before a long, winding descent down through the Utah Olympic Park trail system, with an epic finish at the base of the 120 meter, Olympic Nordic jump. The course rolls across the Wasatch Back, through aspen and evergreen forests, at an average elevation of 8,200′ and is largely shaded single-track. The Mid Mountain Marathon embodies the essence of mountain trail running with intermittent technical sections, a few sustained climbs and fast downhills. Voted best trail marathon in Utah, the Mid Mountain Marathon is a true trail runner’s marathon and is part of the Triple Trail Challenge.
