Mid Mountain Marathon

EVENT DESCRIPTION:  The course follows the Mid Mountain Trail a beautiful single-track trail, mostly forested with either aspen or fir with a periodic view over Park City and the Canyons. Along the way you will encounter an occasional meadows are covered with wildflowers. The scenic single-track trail begins at just under 8100′ and  peaks out at 8400′ as it traverses from Deer Valley Resort to Park City Mountain Resort and The Colony before descending to the Canyons base area at 6800′.

This event is also part of the “Triple Trail Challenge” a
3-stage race that includes the Jupiter Peak Steeplechase, Park City Full or Half Marathon and Mid-Mountain Marathon.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 26.2 miles on single track trail from Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley Resort to The Forum at the Canyons.
 Marathon course closes at 3:00pm. For your safety, we have set up a “free ride home” location. If you are not at The Colony located at mile 16 by 12:00 you will be asked to head back to the finish via sporadic vehicle transportation. If you choose to continue against our recommendations, you do so at your own risk, and will be asked for your bib.
  The course will officially close at 3:00pm.  If you have not crossed the finish line by this time you will be given a DNF.REGISTRATION FEES:  Register today at www.athlete360.c0m

  • $90     Day of – ONLY IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE, EVENT IS LIMITED TO 400PP.

There are 9 aid stations, mile 2.8 (water only), 4.8, 8.5, 13.3, 16, 17.9, 19.9, 21.5, 22.8 all have water, Pro Bars, POWERADE and bananas.

PARKING:  ”NEW THIS YEAR” – NO PARTICIPANT PARKING AT THIS START!  ALL participants must parked at the lower parking area at Canyons adjacent to the Cabriolet next to 7-Eleven.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

  • 6:30 – 7:15am  Bib pick-up
  • 7:00am  Begin loading shuttles to start
  • 7:20am  Last shuttle leaves for start
  • 8:00am  Race Start
  • 1:00pm  Awards at the base of the Orange Bubble chairlift at the Canyons.  Top 3 overall place finishers for both men/ women. In addition, awards will be given to the top three overall competitors in the Triple Trail Challenge both Full & Half.

BAG DROP: A drop bag station will be available at the start.  All left gear will be returned to the finish.  If you do not have your own drop bag, small grocery style bags will be available.

AWARDS:  Finisher medals will be awarded to all as you cross the finish line.  Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers. The awards ceremony will take place at 1:00pm.
