Spring, actually we should just start thinking about summer don’t you think, is still just a distant wish – but in the meantime, MTF wants you to be aware of a few things.
Tomorrow: Join Mountain Trails in celebrating the annual Bike to Work national event this Friday, May 20 by leaving the car at home and either biking or walking to work. Complimentary continental breakfast provided for bikers and walkers from 7:30 to 9 a.m. outside the Yarrow Hotel and the Basin Recreation Field House. A small raffle for some great prizes will be conducted for all those who participate and arrive early. Don’t miss out on the fun. Sponsored by the Park City Chamber Bureau, Basin Recreation, Park City Municipal Corporation and Mountain Trails Foundation.
This Weekend: Cole Sport is having a bike swap on Saturday, May 21st from 9 to 5 and Sunday, May 22nd from 9 to 3 to benefit Mountain Trails. Bikes can be dropped off Friday, May 20th at Cole Sport, 1615 Park Ave. from 9 to 5. This is also the location for the swap. There is no fee to enter a bike into the swap. There is a $10 fee if the bike sells, those proceeds go directly to Mountain Trails. For additional information call Cole Sport at 435-649-4806. Thank you Cole Sport!
Near Future: National Trails Day is just around the corner, make plans to be a part of it, June 4th, 2010. We will be posting more about it very soon with details about our plans locally. Also, the Tuesday Trail Runs start on June 7th.
