Flying Dog
Built and maintained by Basin Recreation, this 25+ mile trail system is located just north of Kimball Junction and exists largely on private land. Please stay on the trail and clean up after pets. Future access in this area depends upon good behavior. Spring Creek Trailhead is the most popular and preferred trailhead because it is very easy to access, parking is ample and there is restroom. These trails are mostly intermediate level trails with sustained climbs and a few technical, but not impossible, sections. Check out Bob’s Basin, just off Flying Dog, for some fun free-ride style trails with bermed turns, jumps and rollers.
