Pack up the baby and grab the old lady Park City. Trail Report January 19th, 2021.

As we groomed out Bonanza, because that’s what we do. We have a few thoughts that I will now share with you.

The Nordic is lovely and the classic is set. If you make the trip up here you won’t be upset. Nicks on the controls laying cord down so fine, 9 out of 10 skiers would say it’s devine. The sun is spectacular, the sky is so clear. Be sure to bring sunscreen face, nose, and ears.

The fat bike is packed by the man Vandy van. If I wasn’t writing you guys I would lend him a hand. Round valley might be sloppy slippy slidey sla-roo. If you start making ruts, turn around, that’s what I would do.

Now remember to be kind to everyone you meet. Pick up your dogs poop and give him a treat. My phones almost dead and I’m all out of rhymes, if you don’t get on some trail today it would be quite a crime.

This is a wonderful post. only problem is I have to work today. I need the early morning speed shuttle up to the trail from the trailhead. Although on the other hand the effort to get up there an reserving it for days I am not working makes it that much more wonderful when I do make it to the magical land of "Bonanza" Thanks for keeping it dialed in up there.

So enjoyed our first skate yesterday at Bonanza. Such a bonus of a place!

My Old lady is my baby, Fat Tuesday don’t say maybe, cuz the flow is sic; thanks to Vandy 😍

You are the best!

Likes all around
To the trail I am bound

Dang - looks like real winter up there! 👍

This is some of your greatest work Chase!

❤️ !

And here's a little screenshot of a map to give you the general lay of the land...

Great job! Thank you!

I’m the old lady
And I’m ditching the baby
Otherwise, I like your notion
To go get the skinny skis in motion

You guys have outdone yourself, it's immaculate up there! I think the groomer dropped a weight bag on the lollipop section so you might wanna retrieve that before it gets buried.

It is so so so so epic. I can't wait to get up there again!

You are right though... people need to smile more up there!

Cheers

How far is it from parking to start of XC trail (Empire pass)? We just ski/walk up road right? Would love to get out there. Thanks for all your hard work!

I had the afternoon doldrums, decided to rally, so I got on my bike and went off to Round Valley.
As I got to the trail head thinking “which way should I go?” The next burning question was: “where is the snow?”
Last week it was white but now mostly muddy, so I soon turned around before I got bloody!
😝🚴
