Howdy Park City! We've got a beUTAHful looking fall weekend on tap and here's the latest on YOUR local trails...

I got out on the 9K on Wednesday and that smidgen of moisture we received last weekend definitely helped improve the trail conditions up high. Elsewhere it's still bone dry and dusty, so embrace the exfoliation on the way down and wear that dirt monobrow proudly!

A few though thousand feet below the 9K, in Round Valley, winter prep is under way and the guys have been busy mowing, grading, laying down road base and adding substantial drainage, all in an effort to improve snow retention this winter and overall conditions year-round.

We're also super excited to say that we're going to add an additional 2.5 km of Nordic trail this year in the Barrel Roll and Valderoad zones, so stay tuned for that!

We anticipate seeing a LOT of folks out in Round Valley this winter, snowshoeing, skiing classic or skate and rolling them fatties. In an effort to alleviate user conflics, we've added some new sections of singletrack that bypass the Nordic and should help to alleviate user conflicts this winter. They'll also make for some great beginner and adaptive cyclist-friendly trails in the summer months.

The 9K was amazing on Monday!!! I would like to remind the guy on the E-bike with bar mitts to yield to uphill bikers when you are going downhill. Seems obvious but apparently it's not!

Mountain trails foundation - you are THE BEST part of living in Park City. Thx you again for all that you do!

Did he have his Placard? When I ride mine, I stop for everyone uphill or down to reduce “old man confrontation”. I also don’t ride it in PC for obvious reasons.

Thank you for your outstanding work! Look forward to skiing the new Nordic trails.
