Introducing the Park City Environmental Coalition.
In 2018 a group of environmentally conscious friends banded together to create the Park City Environmental Coalition (PCEC). Our mission – to promote collaboration with entities (ie, Mountain Trails) to improve our environment thru expanded recycling, enhanced litter management and the recruitment of volunteers committed to proactively making our community cleaner and greener. Our motto “we can all make a difference”.
We actively support Recycle Utah’s community cleanup programs thru sustained “grassroots” participation. In 2020 we fielded teams on 36 weekends. So far in 2021 we’ve been out 13 of the last 14 weekends. We are proud to say that our founding members (cc’d above) have expanded our “team” to 20 + regular volunteers. We look forward to working with Mountain Trails in pursuit of a more sustainable environment.
