Today’s the day! Join us for the Silver Queen Loose Moose ribbon cutting and a ride on the newly completed trail. 🚵
Plans have changed slightly because of construction near the bottom of Loose Moose. We’ll gather near the Viking Yurt at the top of Silver Queen around 2:30 p.m. After the ribbon cutting, we’ll ride down Jenni’s and Drift Road to reach the section of the new trail that’s open.
Riding up? Meet us at the yurt around 2:30. It’s just under 7 miles uphill from the First Time Lot, and there’s a prize for making the climb! If you already reserved a bike haul pass, be ready at the MTF flag in the First Time Lot at 2:00 sharp. See you up there!

🍁Fall colors are shaking in the trees, and soon they’ll be on the ground, so get out and enjoy the changing of the seasons before it’s stick and mud season!
⚠️Reminder: Last weekend to enjoy Bonanza Flat Trail and Tall T, before the seasonal closure for wildlife on Oct 1st!
🎀A ribbon will be cut on Sunday in celebration for the Grand Opening and completion of the top to bottom downhill run of the Silver Queen to Loose Moose. Meeting at the First Time Lot @ 2:00 p.m. if you have lift access or you can plan to be at the Viking Yurt at 2:30 p.m. There have been thoughts of combining the two trails names into one, like Queen Moose, Silver Moose, Moose Queen. Comment your thoughts below!
👛Part of the crew was back on Change Reaction for another week of berm building, lip shaping and dirt jumping. Things are starting to feel more put together again for a fun downhill send. There is still a hard closure for this trail until next week for riders’ safety.
🗿Payroll’s rock garden got reworked and the sinkhole berm is now a beautiful long berm, and other handwork was done on Link.
🚀 First Time Return’s section of off-camber tread was switched back to on-camber.
🛑The section of Loose Moose, just above the Drift Road will be closed for two weeks due to construction. A slight inconvenience for the grand opening, but an alternative plan has been worked out for Sunday.

⚠️ Reminder: Last week to get up and enjoy Bonanza Flat trails and the changing of the seasons! Then the seasonal closure will begin October 1st to give wildlife extra space to prepare for the coming winter season.
This closure includes Bonanza Trail Loop and Tall T. Please be a good outdoor and public land steward and respect this boundary for wildlife’s Season of Rest.
