Trail Report
Holy smokes it's Sunday already!
February 16 grooming report:
Quinn's is lurking around the low 20s this morning, with overcast skies at the moment.
Round Valley snow conditions are still on the thin side and still a bit soft. We are giving everything in RV a drag groom pass today, to help smooth and compress everything in the hopes we get some more snow in the next few days to help build our base layer back up.
Land of Oz is still flirting with the grass, Barrel Roll still showing a bit of dirt on the drainage bumps. So be careful out there!
We are still working on the single track in RV, we advise fat bikers and runners to try to enjoy these trails earlier rather than later in the day. Things were a bit soft yesterday afternoon so we will hit the Big Easy and P-Dog loops again with the drags to try to help keep them smooth-ish.
Here's to hoping for some more snow!

Thank you for working on the single track inRV. How is the single track up at Bonanza?
I packed down some single track with Snow shoes this morning- I've never seen so many people snow shoeing this Winter as I did today- They got the memo!
Thanks for the awesome work.
S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y!
Good morning Park City!
Well it finally is back to feeling like Winter and Boy, Howdy! is it nice. The fellas were out in Round Valley this morning laying down some fine cords on the nordic trails with the exceptions being Barrel Roll, Hanscoms Hollow, Land of Oz, the Valderoad climb, and Upper Quarry. It is some soft, sugar magic out there. We're hoping to get out this afternoon to pack down and groom Big Easy loop. We will also be grooming the Rail Trail section from Bonanza to Quinns Junction.

Looks beautiful! Was it deep enough to set classic tracks?
Yaaaay for the big reset. Tomorrow will be another amazing day. Thanks w love to our awesome MTF crew!
Thanks! Any classic tracks yet?
**1PM Update** We warmed up to 38-degrees with some sun this afternoon and that 6-inches shrunk faster than Constanza in the pool. Be forewarned- It's thin out there! Fingers crossed we pick up more snow tonight.
Happy Friday and Happy Valentine's Day, Park City!!! We all received a lovely bouquet of frosty, white roses this morning. Your winter trails report for February 14th...
It's currently 32-degrees at the Quinn's TH at 10am. The Round Valley trails picked up anywhere from 4-8" depending upon where the wind deposited it, and there was a good bit of drifting throughout the trail system.
Emil & I track-packed most of the Round Valley Nordic this morning and we'll get back out there shortly. Keep in mind that prior to this storm we were down to gravel, grass & asphalt. That said, we're basically starting at ground zero and trying to re-establish a base where there was none.
This will be a good start and hopefully we'll see more snow over the next few days but expect "early season" conditions, not typical mid-February conditions.
We won't be assessing the singletrack until tomorrow but again, we were down to the dirt, so any grooming will be challenging and hard on the equipment with the exposed rock. In the meantime, we strongly encourage busting out the snowshoes and getting a head start on the singletrack.
It's a powder day my friends, so get out there with the one's you love and get after it! #trailreport
