Trail Report
🌦️Mud season is upon us with a very wet beginning to the week, but trails should be dried out for some more brown pow action this weekend!
✏️It would be advised to let the Friday sun dry out higher elevation trails. Round Valley is rocking. If it is sticking to your heels or wheels, please turn around to prevent trail damage!
🕺The crew continued our snow dance with winter prep efforts painting and sticking markers in the ground, flagging single track routes, and cleaning and sharpening summer tools for their winter rest.
🌲 A couple of trees were cleared on 9K and Change Reaction.
👄 Oakley Bike Park got some lip service.
🙌Silver Spur is finally and officially open to enjoy for the tail end of the season.
⚠️Reminder: Please be aware signs have been removed from parts of PCM and Deer Valley for winter preparations, so please double check what trails you are using if you are unsure!

🍁The leaves are hanging on for another weekend.
The crew has been sprucing up Mojave this week. A drop was added; that is signed, and some jump takeoffs and landings will be soft.
🥶 The crew has also started our winter dances by getting winter operations prepped for Round Valley and Bonanza Flat.

🍾 Anchor Trees (hike only) was officially opened this weekend. Thanks to everyone who joined us for the celebration. A special thanks to our donors, volunteers and our trail crew!

A look back at Silver Queen ➡️Loose Moose transforming into a single downhill bike trail to send on 👏
A giant thanks to our donors for funding this project, our crew who designed and built it into existence, and the extra hands from our volunteers.
It was a true team effort, as most trails are!
⚠️Warning: Lower Section of Silver Queen is still closed for Rocky Mountain Power construction. At the Top of Jenni’s down to beginning of Loose Moose, which is also the recommended alternative route down.

New trail, who’s this?
Join Mountain Trails Foundation, Summit Land Conservancy and Deer Valley Resort for the grand opening hike of the new Anchor Trees Trail on Tuesday, October 6 at noon.
Expect 1.3 miles, 800 feet of climbing and beautiful hike-only terrain.
Meet at the Daly West mine headframe near the Montage. Bring sturdy shoes, water and layers. Purple bus riders could win free prizes!
