VIRTUAL & VIRUS FREE AGAIN IN 2021!
Even though vaccine rollouts are underway to ensure we can offer a safe and socially distanced events while, we will once again be virtual in 2021. Our events will keep you out on the trails for some sanity-saving, pandemic recovery all while you help support Mountain Trails! Participates will have from June 1 – 19 to run the course and report their time.
The Round Valley Rambler offers two distances, 7K or a trail half marathon. The half marathon distance is the first race in the Triple Trail Challenge. 100% of the course takes place on buff single and double track trails within the 2,100 acre, Round Valley Open Space, with altitude ranging from 6,500 to 7,100 feet. While athletes will find the trails foot-friendly, the rolling, high-desert terrain presents a few long and steady climbs followed by fast downhills.
The Round Valley Rambler is a stout trail half and serves as a reality check for athletes preparing for the Triple Trail Challenge sister races, the Jupiter Peak Steeplechase and the Mid Mountain Marathon.
How Virtual Works:
- Participants will receive a race bib and finish medal
- Beginning June 1, pickup or have your race bib and finish medal from the Mountain Trails Office located at 5792 N. Highland Drive, Park City, UT. OR, have them mailed (you will choose your preference during registration). Office hours TBD.
- You have from June 1 – 19, 2021 to run the course and report your time. Only times submitted by 5:00pm on June 19, 2021 will be posted.
- Since we can’t cheer you across the finish line, let us celebrate your accomplishment on social media! Take a picture of yourself with your bib and finishers medal and post it to Facebook and Instagram with your time and hashtag: #roundvalleyrambler; #virtural&virusfree
