The GreenHeart XC Ski area details. . .
Brought to you by Mountain Trails Foundation, Basin Recreation and Summit Land Conservancy, the new GreenHeart ski area is located adjacent to and northeast of the Willow Creek Park trails, has officially opened its gate to Nordic skiers. The track is accessible ONLY through the Willow Creek Park gate near the giant willow tree.
This is a ski-only venue. Nordic skiers are welcome, but dogs, fat-tire bikes, and walkers/snowshoers are not allowed because they have a greater impact on the underlying soils and ongoing agricultural operations.
