Seeking 30 Volunteers
August 16th, 2028 – 8:30am-12pm
This volunteer project is the finalization of a hiking connector trail that parallels Marsac near Ontario Mine trlhd. The work anticipated will be completing finish work on the rough-cut tread that was completed last summer. Things like smoothing out/raking/compacting tread to cutting out roots that impact trail. There is, also, the possibility that a dry masonry stone staircase will need to be constructed. So those interested in the more, ahem, construction aspects of trail work, this might be your jam! Please bring enough food and water for the duration of the event. Also, if you are able to bring your own work gloves, long-sleeve shirt and sunglasses, that would be appreciated. Work tools and instruction will be provided.
