Monday Oct 7th:
Our crew will be installing more erosion matting on another turn on Seldom Seen today. This will be on lower zone near the second Jenni's crossing. So please slow down in that area and be mindful of our crew as they try to get work done on an open trail!

Here's your October 4th trail report:
***In an effort to promote seasonal wildlife activity, the Bonanza Loop Trail is closed until spring 2025. Please respect posted trail closures and choose alternative recreation routes.***
This seasonal closure began October 1st.
It was a beautiful week to be up in Bonanza! Our crew has been enjoying the nice weather and the colors as we push on with the Wowza project. Lots of battling with impossible and sometimes possible rocks, at times it feels more like an excavator rodeo event than it does a work day. Good progress is being made however!
We haven't forgotten about the other trails of course, this week our crew also cut out a few new downed trees around PCMR and did some side veg work in Round Valley (Kari's/ Highside) and in Clark Ranch (the downhill piece of Upper Sparky's).
While many leaves have dropped already, there's still plenty of color out there to enjoy and the temperature is staying surprisingly warm this next week. Whatever you folks get into this weekend, we hope you have a good one!

It looked like you removed some black tiles from Seldom Seen? I was riding up Jenni's so not totally sure just saw a pile of them in the grass. Makes sense I guess to preserve from winter damage? That whole process... using the black plastic tiles to keep the erosion down fascinates me. I think they are great. Kudos to whoever thought that one up.
Any update on the new trail below silver queen?
